Trump Signals Possible Response After Alleged Iranian Attack on Aircraft

WASHINGTON:** U.S. President Donald Trump said he was displeased by what he described as an Iranian attack on an aircraft and indicated that the United States could respond.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump suggested that Washington was considering its options following the alleged incident.

“I didn’t like the fact that Iran attacked the aircraft four times yesterday. Three of those attacks were successfully thwarted,” Trump said.

When asked whether the United States would retaliate, the president replied, “You’ll find out.”

Trump did not provide further details about the alleged attacks or the nature of a possible U.S. response.
