Gold Prices Surge to New Record High in Pakistan as Per Tola Rate Crosses Rs455,000

Islamabad: Gold prices in Pakistan registered another sharp increase on Monday, pushing the per tola rate above Rs455,000 for the first time in the country’s history.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of gold rose by Rs10,800 in local bullion markets, reaching a new record high of Rs455,136.
The price of 10 grams of gold also witnessed a significant increase of Rs9,720, bringing the rate to Rs389,600.
Silver prices followed the same upward trend, with the price of one tola of silver increasing by Rs230 to settle at Rs7,509.
Meanwhile, the international gold market also recorded substantial gains. The price of gold climbed by $108 per ounce, reaching $4,327 per ounce, one of the highest levels recorded in recent weeks.
Market experts attributed the surge in domestic gold prices to the continued rise in international bullion rates, saying global market trends are having a direct impact on local prices and driving gold to unprecedented levels across Pakistan.
