Imran Khan Undergoes Medical Examination at PIMS Hospital; Eye Injection Administered
Islamabad: Former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan underwent a medical examination at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), where he received the fifth dose of an eye injection treatment.
According to jail sources, Imran Khan was shifted from Adiala Jail to PIMS Hospital late last night. A complete medical check-up of his affected eye was conducted at the hospital, followed by the administration of an intravitreal injection as part of ongoing treatment.
On the other hand, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar confirmed in a statement that Imran Khan was taken to PIMS Hospital overnight and returned to Adiala Jail after receiving the injection. He reiterated the party’s demand for the former prime minister’s transfer to a hospital for proper treatment.
Barrister Gohar also called for immediate access for Imran Khan’s family, expressing concern over his health condition and urging authorities to ensure appropriate medical care.
