Major Breakthrough in Treatment of Acid Attack Survivor Dr. Mah Noor as Facial Grafting Surgery Succeeds

Quetta: A significant breakthrough has been achieved in the treatment of Dr. Mah Noor, who was the victim of an acid attack in Quetta, as doctors successfully completed facial grafting and minor reconstructive surgery on her nose.
According to hospital sources, a three-member team of expert plastic surgeons carried out the facial grafting procedure. Following the surgery, Dr. Mah Noor’s condition has been steadily improving.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Mah Noor’s father said that his daughter is recovering rapidly. However, he noted that additional grafting procedures and other necessary surgeries will be performed in the future to restore her facial features as closely as possible to their original condition.
Hospital officials also provided an update on her eyesight, stating that one of her eyes is completely healthy, while the other has slight blurriness. Doctors are continuing treatment to improve the affected eye.
Medical experts said the patient’s overall health is satisfactory and showing consistent progress. They added that further stages of facial grafting are scheduled to begin approximately one week after the successful completion of the recent procedure to enhance the recovery and reconstruction process.
The latest development has been welcomed as an encouraging step in Dr. Mah Noor’s ongoing treatment and rehabilitation.
