Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has described the Federal Budget 2026-27 as a budget of relief, public welfare, and economic progress, stating that the benefits of economic stability will now be passed on directly to the people.

In a statement issued after the budget session, the prime minister thanked the people of Pakistan for their patience and resilience during challenging economic conditions.

Shehbaz Sharif said that, by the grace of Allah and with the prayers and support of the nation, the government had succeeded in achieving economic stability. He noted that citizens endured hardships and played a vital role in supporting efforts to stabilize the economy.
