Iran Says Indirect Talks With U.S. Continue Through Pakistan to Finalize Agreement

Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, has said that Iran and the United States are continuing negotiations through Pakistan in an effort to finalize an agreement.
According to Iran’s state news agency, Iravani made the remarks on Monday after a United Nations Security Council meeting on Afghanistan. He said that the process of exchanging views and proposals aimed at reaching an agreement with the United States remains ongoing.
The Iranian envoy stated that both Tehran and Washington are presenting ideas and exchanging opinions through Pakistan to reach a final draft of the agreement.
He added that the two sides have not yet reached a final text, but negotiations and discussions are continuing as efforts to conclude the deal move forward.
