YDA Demands Judicial Inquiry Into Acid Attack on Dr. Mah Noor Nassar, Seeks Arrest of Culprits

Quetta – A delegation of the Young Doctors Association (YDA) Balochistan, led by Chairman YDA Balochistan and Vice Chairman YDA Pakistan Dr. Yasser Khan Achakzai, visited the central secretariat of the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) and demanded a judicial inquiry into the acid attack on Dr. Mah Noor Nassar.
The delegation also demanded the immediate arrest of those involved in the incident and called for the removal of responsible officials. They emphasized that strict and practical measures must be taken to ensure the safety of doctors, medical staff, and patients in hospitals.
During the meeting, the YDA delegation briefed PkMAP central Secretary General Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, provincial president Qahar Khan Wadan, provincial general secretary Kabir Afghan, provincial office secretary Malik Umar Kakakhel, and deputy secretary Sardar Habib-ur-Rehman Domar about the serious incident that occurred in the Surgical Tower of Civil Hospital Quetta involving Dr. Mah Noor Nassar.
Members of the delegation including Dr. Abdullah Tareen, Dr. Naqeebullah, Dr. Aimal Sherani, Dr. Akram Zarkoon, Dr. Samiullah, and Dr. Usman Shah Sherani were also present.
The meeting strongly condemned the acid attack and termed it a highly unfortunate and alarming incident. The YDA urged authorities to initiate a judicial inquiry, ensure the arrest of all involved individuals, and bring them to justice.
They further stressed the need for effective security arrangements in hospitals to protect doctors, healthcare workers, and patients from any kind of violence or insecurity.
PkMAP leaders expressed full solidarity with Dr. Mah Noor Nassar and assured the delegation of their complete support in seeking justice and holding the responsible individuals accountable.
