Temperature Expected to Rise in Karachi as Heatwave Conditions Grip Sindh

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast a rise in temperatures in Karachi starting today, with heatwave conditions expected to affect most districts of Sindh through June 12.

According to the Met Office, Karachi is likely to experience extremely hot weather, with the maximum temperature expected to reach 38 degrees Celsius.

The weather department said hot and humid conditions are expected to prevail in the city over the next 24 hours, adding to discomfort for residents.

The minimum temperature recorded in Karachi was 30 degrees Celsius.

Meteorologists reported that sea breezes are currently blowing at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour, while humidity levels stand at 72 percent.

Authorities have advised residents to take precautionary measures during the hot weather, stay hydrated, and avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight during peak daytime hours.
