Threats to Create Fake AI Video Issued if Marriage Refused: Mominah Iqbal’s Sister Holds Press Conference

Lahore: Actress Mominah Iqbal’s sister has strongly rejected the allegations made by PML-N Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chandhr and announced legal action against him.

Addressing a press conference, she demanded that Saqib Chandhr prove his claims of giving millions in cash and gifts, adding that the family will approach the court against what she termed false allegations.

She stated that Mominah Iqbal was continuously harassed for the past three years, and when she raised her voice against the harassment, they were threatened with serious consequences.

According to her, despite being victims, they are being put on trial instead. She alleged that threats were made that if marriage was not agreed upon, an AI-generated fake video of Mominah would be created and made viral.

She further said they were also warned that if they did not withdraw the FIR, a campaign would be launched against them. She added that due to the situation, both her and Hamza’s families are under severe mental stress.

The actress’s sister also alleged that lawyer Mian Ali Ashfaq made accusations against them, which she said would also be challenged in court.

She claimed that instead of addressing the issue of fake AI-generated content, questions are being raised against them.

She added that the case would become a precedent in which a girl stood firm instead of giving up under pressure.
