Quality and Transparency Must Be Ensured in Development Projects: Assistant Commissioner Loralai

Loralai: On the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Loralai Captain (Retd) Muhammad Haseeb Shuja, Assistant Commissioner Loralai Nadeem Akram visited Nasirabad, Kuchlak, Marghah Khana, Dhobi Ghat, Government Girls High School, and the central market, where he reviewed various ongoing development projects under the BSDI program.
During the visit, Engineer Imran Khan accompanied him and provided a detailed briefing regarding ongoing development schemes, construction progress, quality of work, utilization of funds, and different phases of project completion. Relevant officials from concerned departments and contractors were also present on the occasion.
The Assistant Commissioner inspected ongoing construction activities at different sites and reviewed the quality, pace, and transparency of the projects. He directed the concerned authorities to ensure that all development work is completed within the stipulated time frame and that no compromise is made on construction quality. He emphasized that transparency and standards must be strictly maintained in all public-funded projects so that citizens can receive durable and quality facilities.
He further stated that the district administration is closely monitoring public welfare projects and, in line with government directives, timely completion of development schemes remains a top priority. He added that efforts are being made to improve basic infrastructure, educational institutions, drainage systems, and urban facilities across the district.
During the visit, the Assistant Commissioner also reviewed ongoing construction and renovation work at the Government Girls High School and instructed officials to complete all necessary facilities as soon as possible to provide a better educational environment for students. He also inspected sanitation, drainage, and public service-related issues in the market and Dhobi Ghat areas, issuing further instructions for improvement.
Later, he met with local citizens and community elders, who shared their issues and suggestions. The residents expressed satisfaction over the ongoing development activities and appreciated the efforts of the district administration.
At the conclusion of the visit, the overall progress of development projects was reviewed with satisfaction, and officials were instructed to further accelerate the pace of work while maintaining quality and transparency so that the public can benefit from these projects at the earliest.
