Politicians Are the Most Oppressed Class in the Country, Says Punjab Governor

Attock: Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has described politicians as the most oppressed class in the country, saying they face accountability from every institution as well as the public.
According to ARY News, speaking at a public gathering in Fateh Jang, the governor said that politicians in Pakistan are continuously scrutinized, including by the National Accountability Bureau (National Accountability Bureau) and other state institutions.
He added that leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party (Pakistan Peoples Party), including its founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, made historic sacrifices for democracy and public rights, but the party has often faced negative propaganda.
The governor further stated that with the support of philanthropists, development projects worth millions of rupees have been completed in District Attock. These include free dialysis centers, water filtration plants, and mass marriage programs.
He also thanked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for approving the establishment of the University of Attock, calling it a major educational milestone for the region.
