Illegal Mini Petrol Pump Resealed in Loralai, Shopkeeper Escapes After Breaking Official Seal

Loralai (KNN) — The district administration of Loralai has intensified its crackdown against illegal mini petrol pumps and violations of government orders by resealing an unlawful fuel station located on Quetta Road.
Under the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Muhammad Haseeb Shuja and Assistant Commissioner Nadeem Akram, authorities had earlier sealed the Zakir Mini Petrol Pump over faulty fuel measurements, lack of safety arrangements, and other violations during an ongoing campaign against illegal businesses.
According to sources, the administration later received information that the shopkeeper had broken the official seal and reopened the outlet on his own. Upon receiving the report, Assistant Commissioner Nadeem Akram immediately reached the site, where officials once again sealed the illegal mini petrol pump. However, the shopkeeper managed to escape from the scene.
During the operation, petrol stock, machinery, and other equipment present at the shop were taken into official custody.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Nadeem Akram said strict action would continue against those violating government orders, using substandard measuring systems, and endangering public safety. He warned that legal cases would also be registered against individuals involved in breaking official seals.
The district administration appealed to citizens to avoid purchasing fuel from illegal and unregistered mini petrol pumps and to immediately report such activities to the authorities to help ensure public safety and protect citizens’ lives and property.
Officials further stated that a special crackdown against illegal businesses, encroachments, and violations of official price lists in Loralai city and surrounding areas would be intensified in the coming days.
