Former captain’s message goes viral ahead of Australia series

Lahore (Khabrain Report) Former Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez has expressed hope that the national team will make full use of available opportunities in the upcoming ODI series against Australia to build a strong combination.
In a post shared on social media platform X, Hafeez said that while the ICC World Cup will be played in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, Pakistan has so far played only 10 One Day Internationals according to the Future Tour Programme.
He added that he expects the team to utilize its resources effectively and prepare a strong squad through the available matches.
It is worth mentioning that the three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia will be played from May 30 to June 4, marking Pakistan’s second ODI series of the year.
After the Champions Trophy 2025, Pakistan has played five ODI series, losing three away series while winning two home series.
