Police in Lahore have uncovered a staged robbery involving Rs 18 million, exposing the complainant himself as the alleged mastermind behind the incident.

According to authorities, the case took place in the Kahna area of Lahore, where a property dealer initially reported that a major robbery had occurred involving cash and valuables worth around Rs 1.8 crore.

However, during investigation, police discovered that the robbery had been fabricated. The complainant was later identified as the main accused who allegedly orchestrated the entire plan.

Police confirmed that the main suspect, along with two accomplices, has been arrested, and stolen cash and gold have been recovered.

Investigators revealed that the accused allegedly staged the robbery to cover financial losses and even provided access to his home keys to employees to execute the fake crime scene.
