Propaganda Campaign Launched Against Sohail Afridi, Says Shandana Gulzar

Peshawar: Shandana Gulzar, a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has claimed that a propaganda campaign was launched against Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, with opponents even labeling him a drug dealer.

Speaking at a press conference in Peshawar, Shandana Gulzar said that despite various challenges, Sohail Afridi was running the provincial government effectively. She added that even after the 18th Amendment, the province still faced shortages of gas and electricity.

She further stated that no drone attacks occurred during PTI’s three-year government tenure and emphasized that the party believes in upholding the Constitution and would not take any unconstitutional steps.

Shandana Gulzar said that PTI founder Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas had been assigned responsibilities by the party leadership. She added that the Tehreek Tahafuz Aain Pakistan movement and PTI had jointly decided to hold protests every week, with peaceful demonstrations set to begin at 5 p.m. today.

She also said that protests in support of the PTI founder would continue and would no longer remain limited to a single agenda, but would also raise voice on broader public issues.
