11-Year-Old Girl Abducted in Kacha Area Incident Sparks Public Outrage

Karachi:In a disturbing incident reported from the Kacha area, an 11-year-old Pashtun girl and her mother were allegedly abducted by armed criminals, triggering widespread concern and anger among local communities.
According to reports, the kidnappers initially demanded a ransom of 30 million rupees for the girl’s release, which was later negotiated down to 15 million rupees. It is further alleged that when the mother arrived in the Kacha area with the ransom amount, she was subjected to severe abuse and the money was taken from her.
The reports also claim that the abductors subsequently sold the child for 800,000 rupees, while the mother was left in a traumatic situation following the incident.
The case has sparked strong reactions across public circles, particularly within the Pashtun community, with citizens expressing deep anger over the deteriorating law and order situation in the region. Many people have alleged that criminal groups operating in the Kacha area enjoy protection from influential networks, enabling them to act with impunity.
Residents have demanded immediate and decisive action from law enforcement agencies to clear the area of such criminal elements and restore state authority. Some local voices also claimed that if authorities are unable to act, they themselves could take steps to eliminate criminal activity within a short period of time.
