Kahna Area “Blind Murder” Case Solved: Husband Arrested for Killing Wife

Lahore (Kahna): The “blind murder” case of a young woman, Mehrosh Bibi, from the Kahna area has been solved, with police confirming that her husband was behind the killing.

According to DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza, the incident was taken up on priority, after which a special investigation team was formed under SP Investigation Model Town to trace the suspects.

Police officials said the in-charge investigation, Kahna Police Station, conducted a targeted operation with the team and successfully arrested the accused husband.

SP Investigation Model Town stated that the suspect killed his wife due to domestic disputes by suffocating her with a pillow. After the murder, he allegedly transported the body on a motorcycle during the night and dumped it in a drain (Rohi Nala) to conceal the crime.

Authorities further revealed that the accused attempted to mislead investigators by registering a false kidnapping case against unknown persons at the concerned police station.

Police added that the suspect was arrested using modern investigative techniques and human intelligence support.

DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza stated that, with the help of prosecution partners, the accused will be awarded exemplary punishment. He further emphasized that individuals involved in crimes against women and children will not be shown any leniency.

SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed has announced commendation certificates for the police team for successfully resolving the case.
