Video Emerges of Village Set on Fire Over Love Marriage in Jacobabad

JACOBABAD: A disturbing video has surfaced showing a village being set ablaze in connection with a love marriage dispute in Jacobabad.

The video shows dozens of people gathered outside burnt houses, with several armed individuals also visible at the scene. In the footage, residents can be seen filming the charred remains of homes in the village identified as Siddiq Arain.

The incident has sparked widespread concern after images and videos of the destroyed settlement circulated on social media.

Following the emergence of the video, Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident. He sought a detailed report from the Commissioner and DIG Larkana and directed authorities to take strict action against those involved.

Investigations are expected to proceed as law enforcement agencies move to verify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
