Failed Economic Policies Have Devastated Country’s Economy: Shafi Jan

PESHAWAR: Peshawar — Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shafi Jan, has said that the so-called economic team’s failed policies have “devastated the country’s economy.”
In a statement, he criticized the recent increase in petroleum product prices, calling it an “economic injustice” against the public. He said that instead of providing relief to citizens, the government has imposed billions of rupees in additional burden on them.
Shafi Jan stated that the federal government has completely failed to provide relief to the people, adding that its economic policies are worsening inflation and public hardship.
He further said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is taking steps to support citizens facing financial difficulties. He highlighted initiatives such as the “Ehsaas Fuel Support Scheme” and other programs aimed at reducing public burden.
The KP information official added that efforts are underway to provide maximum relief to the people through targeted welfare measures.
