US Congress Resolution Praises Pakistan’s Diplomatic Role During Iran Tensions

Washington: A resolution introduced in the United States House of Representatives has praised Pakistan for its diplomatic efforts during recent tensions involving Iran, describing Pakistan as a “neutral and trustworthy mediator.”
The resolution was presented by US Congressman Al Green and acknowledged Pakistan’s role in facilitating dialogue and promoting peace during a period of heightened regional tensions.


According to the text of the resolution, Pakistan played a key diplomatic role during the conflict and provided important facilitation efforts aimed at preventing loss of life and property.


The resolution also recognized that Pakistan faced logistical and administrative challenges, including restrictions and disruptions in major cities, while hosting diplomatic delegations to support constructive negotiations.
It further stated that Pakistan contributed significantly to efforts aimed at achieving a ceasefire and promoting sustainable peace through diplomatic engagement.
The development has also generated strong reactions on social media, where many users described the move as recognition of Pakistan’s growing diplomatic importance on the global stage.
