Palestinian Grand Mufti Meets President Zardari, Congratulates Pakistan on “Paigham-e-Islam Conference” Success

Islamabad (Khabar Desk) — President Asif Ali Zardari has met a high-level Palestinian delegation led by Chief Justice of Palestine and religious affairs advisor to President Mahmoud Abbas, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, along with Grand Mufti of Palestine Sheikh Muhammad Ahmed Hussein.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousaf was also present during the meeting.
The Palestinian delegation congratulated Pakistan on the successful organization of the “Paigham-e-Islam Conference” and conveyed best wishes from the Palestinian leadership.
During the meeting, President Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued support for the rights and legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people, stating that Pakistan will always stand by them.
The Palestinian delegation appreciated Pakistan’s voice and support during difficult times, calling it a strong example for the Muslim Ummah.
Both sides also agreed on strengthening cooperation for national stability and promoting interfaith harmony.
