Australian Cricketer David Warner Admits Mistake in Drink-Driving Case

Islamabad (Khabar Desk) — Renowned Australian cricketer David Warner has admitted wrongdoing in a drink-driving case filed against him in Australia.
According to media reports, Warner’s lawyer Bobby Hill told journalists outside a Sydney court that the cricketer described the incident as a careless and “foolish mistake” and would accept responsibility for his actions.
The lawyer stated that David Warner had consumed three glasses of alcohol before driving. He added that the player realizes the seriousness of the matter and is treating the case seriously.
Reports further stated that Warner did not appear in court during the hearing, while the next hearing in the case has been scheduled for next month.
The Australian cricketer had reportedly traveled to Sydney last month during a break from the Pakistan Super League, where he was allegedly charged with driving under the influence of alcohol during his stay.
