PTI Leader Ali Bukhari Says Workers Continue Political Struggle Despite Arrests; Government Stresses Legal Procedures

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Bukhari has said that party workers continue their political struggle despite facing difficulties and arrests, describing it as a sign of an organized public movement.
Speaking during a political talk show, Bukhari stated that a large segment of the public supports the current political narrative of his party. He also raised concerns over the use of strict laws, including terrorism-related provisions, in political cases.
On the other hand, presenting the government’s stance, Senator Nasir Butt said that jail meetings and legal matters should be handled strictly in accordance with court orders and established procedures. He emphasized that violations of jail security rules can lead to complications in arranging meetings.
He added that adherence to judicial guidelines is essential and stressed that fulfilling legal requirements is more important than engaging in political rhetoric. According to him, prison authorities are bound to follow court-mandated rules while maintaining discipline and security.
The discussion also touched on past political events, ongoing court cases, and Pakistan’s political history, where differing viewpoints were presented. While one side described political struggle as a democratic right, the other emphasized the need to operate within the legal framework.
Experts noted that such debates reflect increasing polarization in Pakistan’s political environment, with each side projecting its stance as having public support.
