Hot and Dry Weather to Persist Across Pakistan, Southern Regions to Remain Extremely Hot

Most parts of Pakistan are expected to experience hot and dry weather today, while southern regions will remain under intense heat conditions.
According to weather forecasts, isolated rain is likely in parts of Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.
On Sunday, the highest temperatures were recorded in Jacobabad and Shaheed Benazirabad, where mercury soared to 46°C.
Other cities also experienced extreme heat, including Lasbela, Turbat, Dadu, Padidan, Mohenjo-daro, and Hyderabad, where temperatures reached 45°C.
Temperatures in other major cities were recorded as follows: Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, and Bahawalpur at 40°C; Karachi at 38°C; Lahore at 37°C; Islamabad, Quetta, and Muzaffarabad at 34°C; Peshawar at 33°C; and Gilgit at 24°C.
Authorities have advised citizens to take precautions against heat, especially in southern regions where temperatures remain dangerously high.
