Four Children of Same Family Die in Jamshoro Within 15 Days, Cause Under Investigation

JAMSHORO: Four children from the same family have reportedly died in the Kotri area of Jamshoro within a span of 15 days, with authorities initially suspecting measles as a possible cause.
According to Deputy Commissioner Ghaznfar Qadri, the deaths occurred over the past two weeks in one household. He said the ages of the deceased children ranged from 10 months to 15 years.
The official stated that the children reportedly suffered from high fever, vomiting, loss of appetite, and difficulty in swallowing prior to their deaths.
However, he clarified that there is currently no confirmed evidence that the deaths were caused by measles.
Health authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fatalities, while medical teams are reviewing symptoms and local conditions in the affected area.
