PTI Leader Ejaz Chaudhry Falls Ill in Jail, Shifted to Hospital

LAHORE: Former senator of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Ejaz Chaudhry, was shifted to a hospital after his health deteriorated in Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore.
His lawyer, Rana Mudassir Umar, confirmed that Chaudhry fell ill while in custody and was subsequently transferred to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) for medical examination.
According to the lawyer, the PTI leader is currently undergoing a check-up at the hospital.
Ejaz Chaudhry had previously been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment in multiple cases related to the May 9 incidents.
