Digitalized Driving License Branch Inaugurated in Peshawar to Streamline Public Services

PESHAWAR: A state-of-the-art digitalized driving license branch equipped with modern facilities has been inaugurated in Peshawar, aiming to simplify the licensing process for citizens.
Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed formally inaugurated the new branch at the Traffic Headquarters. The initiative has been launched under a one-window operation system to provide all services under a single roof.
With the establishment of this facility, citizens will no longer need to visit multiple offices for different stages of the licensing process. All procedures—including driving tests, fee submission, and photograph capturing—can now be completed within the same building.
Speaking on the occasion, the IGP said that making the licensing process easy, fast, and transparent is a top priority. He added that the initiative aims to encourage responsible driving behavior and ensure improved road safety across the city.
