Viral Photos Show Usman Buzdar Driving Yousaf Raza Gillani, Social Media Reacts

Multan: Former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has resurfaced on social media after viral images appeared to show him driving a vehicle carrying Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gillani.

Buzdar, who served as chief minister during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, had largely remained out of the public eye following the end of his tenure and the party’s political setbacks. However, the recently circulated images show him behind the wheel of Gillani’s car, while another picture captures him standing alongside Gillani, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, and other figures.

The images quickly drew mixed reactions from users on social media platform X. Some users criticized Buzdar for allegedly distancing himself from former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who had appointed him as chief minister despite criticism.

Others used the moment to question political decisions made during the PTI government, while some commentators described the situation as disappointing, referencing past praise for Buzdar.

Meanwhile, an alternative account circulating online suggested the incident occurred after a funeral gathering, where heavy traffic caused disruptions. According to this version, Buzdar offered Gillani a ride in his vehicle as a gesture of courtesy, portraying the act as one of mutual respect rather than political alignment.

The authenticity and context of the viral images have not been independently verified, but the episode has sparked renewed debate online about political loyalties and public perception.
