Iranian Negotiating Team Expected in Pakistan as Ceasefire Extension Talks Loom

A report by CNN suggests that an Iranian negotiating delegation is expected to arrive in Pakistan on Tuesday for a new round of talks. According to the report, the team will likely include the same officials who participated in the earlier phase of negotiations.
The U.S. media outlet indicated that Iran is hopeful a symbolic joint announcement on extending the ceasefire could be made on Wednesday, provided discussions proceed positively.
The report further noted that if progress is achieved and Donald Trump agrees to visit Pakistan, the Iranian president may also travel to the country. In such a scenario, both leaders could sign a joint declaration during their visit.
However, there has been no official confirmation from Iran regarding the dispatch of the delegation so far. Meanwhile, President Trump stated a day earlier that his representatives are heading to Islamabad for negotiations.
The situation remains fluid, with official confirmations awaited from the concerned parties.
