Balochistan Govt Orders Comprehensive Audit of Official Vehicles

Quetta: The government of Balochistan has decided to conduct a comprehensive audit of official vehicles to ensure transparency and proper use of state resources.
On the directives of the Chief Minister, a high-level committee has been formed to carry out a detailed audit of vehicles across all government departments, autonomous bodies, and subordinate offices.
According to an official statement, the Secretary of S&GAD has been appointed as the committee’s chairman, while the Secretaries of Finance and Transport will serve as members.
The primary objective of the committee is to identify vehicles being used beyond entitlement or without proper authorization, and to recommend action against such irregularities. The statement further emphasized that strict measures will be taken against the unauthorized use of government vehicles.
To facilitate the process, all departments have been directed to appoint a Grade-19 focal person within 48 hours, responsible for providing complete records and data to the committee.
The committee has been instructed to submit its final report and recommendations within 15 days. The Chief Minister has made it clear that immediate and strict actions will be taken based on the audit findings to curb misuse of government resources and ensure administrative transparency.
