Gold Prices Rise After Two-Day Pause, Silver Also Becomes More Expensive

Karachi: Gold prices in both international and local markets increased on Tuesday, while silver also recorded a notable rise.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce increased by $46, reaching a new level of $4,776 per ounce.
Following the global trend, local bullion markets also witnessed a sharp rise on the second trading day of the week. The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs4,600, reaching Rs499,962 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs3,943, bringing it to Rs429,636.
Silver prices also moved upward alongside gold. The price per tola increased by Rs326 to reach Rs8,260, while the price of 10 grams rose by Rs279 to settle at Rs7,081.
It is worth noting that gold prices had declined in both global and local markets during the previous two days, on Saturday and Monday, before reversing their trend today.
