Two Girls Killed, One Injured in Traffic Accident in Karachi’s Nazimabad
Two girls were killed and a boy injured in a tragic traffic accident in Nazimabad, located in Karachi, police said on Tuesday.
According to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Central, initial reports suggest that the victims were riding a motorcycle when they lost control due to a damaged road surface. As a result, the two sisters fell off the bike and were run over by a passing oil tanker.
The boy riding the motorcycle sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Police officials confirmed that the tanker driver, who initially fled the scene, has been arrested, and the vehicle has been taken into custody.
Authorities have begun further investigation into the incident, while concerns over poor road conditions in the area have once again come under scrutiny.
