Three Suspects of ‘Tango Group’ Arrested in Karachi for Street Crimes

Karachi: Law enforcement authorities have arrested three members of the so-called “Tango Group” allegedly involved in multiple street crime incidents across the city.
According to a spokesperson for the Pakistan Rangers, the operation was carried out in the Pathan Colony area, where suspects identified as Muzammil Shah, Sabir Rehman, and Kareemullah alias Lala were taken into custody.
Officials said that three mobile phones and cash were recovered from the arrested individuals.
During initial interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed to involvement in 300 to 400 incidents of snatching mobile phones, motorcycles, and cash.
Authorities further revealed that two accomplices of the group are already in jail, while raids are ongoing to apprehend other members.
The arrested suspects have been handed over to police for further legal proceedings, the spokesperson added.
