Punjab Assembly Submits Resolution to Nominate PM, FM, and Ishaq Dar for Nobel Peace Prize

Lahore: A resolution recommending the nomination of Pakistani leadership for the Nobel Peace Prize has been submitted in the Punjab Assembly.

The resolution proposes nominating Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their diplomatic efforts.

Submitted by PML-N Chief Whip Rana Muhammad Arshad, the resolution states that timely and effective diplomacy by Pakistan’s leadership helped promote peace and stability in the region. It also notes that the recent tensions posed a serious threat to global peace and could have escalated into a major international crisis.

The Punjab Assembly commended the Pakistani leadership for their proactive and effective diplomatic interventions that mitigated the threat and contributed to regional stability.
