BAP Leaders Reject Merger Rumors with PML-N, Vow Nationwide Expansion

Quetta: Senior leaders of the Balochistan Awami Party have dismissed reports of a possible merger with the Pakistan مسلم League (N), calling such claims baseless and misleading.

Speaking to the media, Senator Dinesh Kumar and Farah Azeem Shah, central president of the party’s women wing and a member of the provincial assembly, said the party has evolved into a nationwide political force and has no plans to merge with any other party.

They stated that following a successful convention in South Punjab, the party is now expanding its organizational structure to other regions including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, aiming to strengthen its presence across the country.

The leaders emphasized that there has been no decision or discussion regarding merging BAP into PML-N, adding that such rumors are part of political propaganda by opponents unsettled by the party’s growing popularity.

They further said that while BAP is currently part of the provincial government, it continues to highlight governance issues both in the media and before the chief minister whenever necessary.

Reaffirming their political ambitions, the leaders expressed confidence that the party will emerge as a strong public representative force and aims to form governments not only in Balochistan but also in other provinces in the future.
