Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Praises Pakistan’s Role in US-Iran-Israel Ceasefire
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz lauded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the successful ceasefire involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. She also commended Field Marshal Asim Munir for his contributions to the peace effort.
Maryam Nawaz stated that whenever the history of this conflict is recorded, “Pakistan” will be written prominently for its role in averting war. She described the country’s achievement in preventing a global catastrophe as a landmark moment in history.
Highlighting Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, she said the nation’s balanced approach had amazed the international community and underscored its influence in regional politics. She emphasized that the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir had prevented a massive disaster and expressed confidence that upcoming negotiations for a peace agreement would also succeed.
The Chief Minister concluded by saying that Pakistan’s role in safeguarding ancient civilizations and preventing widespread destruction is an accomplishment that will never be forgotten.
