Pakistan Refrains from Confirming Reports on US-Iran Ceasefire Framework

Islamabad: Pakistan has declined to confirm or deny reports regarding a proposed ceasefire framework between the United States and Iran.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan responded to media queries about Pakistan’s possible diplomatic role in efforts to end the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, stating that no comment would be made on specific reports.
The spokesperson noted that various claims have emerged, including a proposed 45-day ceasefire and a 15-point framework, but emphasized that Pakistan does not comment on individual or unverified developments.
Reaffirming Islamabad’s stance, the spokesperson said that Pakistan remains committed to supporting diplomatic efforts and de-escalation to ensure peace and stability in the region.
