Sindh Rangers Arrest Four Suspects, Including Leader of ‘Kumandan’ Gang in Karachi

Karachi: The Sindh Rangers have arrested four members of the notorious ‘Kumandan’ gang, including its leader, in a crackdown in Bilal Town and Gulshan Ghazi, Karachi.

Based on secret intelligence, the Rangers conducted operations targeting the gang involved in multiple robbery and street crime incidents in Bilal Town, Gulshan Ghazi, and 24 Market. The arrested suspects include Saeed-ur-Rehman alias Kumandan (gang leader), Saber alias Sheena, Ikram alias Akro, and Akash alias Punjabi.

Saeed-ur-Rehman, the gang’s leader, reportedly supplied weapons for robberies and supervised his accomplices during their criminal activities. Money stolen in these robberies was handed over to the leader, who then distributed it among the gang members. CCTV footage captured the suspects during these robberies.

According to the Rangers’ spokesperson, the arrested individuals are habitual offenders who had previously been jailed. Raids are ongoing to apprehend other gang members. The arrested suspects have been handed over to the police for further legal proceedings.
