Quetta Administration Decides Crackdown on Illegal Mini Petrol Pumps
QUETTA: The district administration has decided to launch a crackdown against illegal mini petrol pumps selling fuel at inflated prices in the city.
The decision was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Mehrullah Badini. The meeting was attended by additional deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners, magistrates, and tehsildars.
During the session, officials agreed to take strict action against mini petrol pumps involved in overcharging and operating unlawfully. The Deputy Commissioner directed authorities to ensure indiscriminate action against those violating regulations.
He further instructed relevant officers to promptly address public complaints and ensure that no leniency is shown to those found breaching the law.
