Iran Claims to Shoot Down Second U.S. F-35 Fighter Jet in 24 Hours

Tehran: Iran has claimed that it shot down two advanced U.S. F-35 stealth fighter jets within 24 hours, marking the third such aircraft allegedly downed during the ongoing conflict.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that the F-35 was destroyed while in mid-air over a central region. Iranian news agency Tasnim released images of the wreckage, reporting that the jet was completely destroyed and that the pilot’s chances of survival were minimal.
According to Iranian media, this is the second F-35 claimed to be downed in the past 24 hours. The first such incident was reportedly on March 19, when Iran claimed to have shot down a U.S. F-35.
The U.S. Central Command has not officially responded to the latest claim. However, it previously stated that all U.S. warplanes remained safe following earlier reported incidents.
The Iranian announcements have drawn international attention, raising concerns over escalation and the safety of military operations in the region.
