Karachi Kings’ Adam Zampa Opens Up on Leaving IPL and Joining PSL

Australian star spinner Adam Zampa, now part of the Karachi Kings squad, revealed that he left the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to insufficient compensation relative to his skills.
In an interview with a local sports platform, Zampa explained that the IPL demands a significant time commitment while not providing remuneration that reflected his abilities, making it an unsuitable option for him.
Zampa further shared that he initially considered taking a break from cricket after leaving the IPL, but the opportunity to play in the Pakistan Super League came unexpectedly, which he quickly accepted and is thoroughly enjoying.
Since joining Karachi Kings, Zampa has impressed with his performances and praised the overall standard of the PSL. He also commended Shaheen Afridi, captain of the Lahore Qalandars, calling him an exceptional bowler whose deliveries always have something special about them.
