PIMS Ophthalmologist Examines Bushra Bibi, Prescribes Medication and Follow-Up
Rawalpindi: Bushra Bibi, wife of Imran Khan, received a detailed medical examination at PIMS Hospital after reporting severe discomfort and blurred vision in her right eye while in Adiala Jail.
According to jail sources, Dr. Mohammad Arif Khan, head of the ophthalmology department at PIMS, personally visited the facility to conduct the examination. During the check-up, Bushra Bibi reported persistent headaches and blurred vision in her right eye.
Following the assessment, the ophthalmologist prescribed specific eye drops and other necessary medications. She was also instructed to follow precautionary measures to prevent worsening of her symptoms.
Jail authorities stated that Dr. Khan has advised a follow-up examination after four weeks to monitor the effectiveness of treatment and assess improvements in her vision.
