Iran Receives US Ceasefire Proposals; Pakistan, Türkiye Considered as Potential Hosts for Talks

Tehran: Iran has reportedly received ceasefire proposals from the United States, with Pakistan and Turkey being considered as potential venues for future negotiations.

According to an unnamed senior Iranian official speaking to Reuters, Pakistan has conveyed the US ceasefire proposals to Tehran, a development that could help ease tensions in the Middle East.

The official also confirmed that Türkiye has played a key role in facilitating diplomatic contacts, with both Pakistan and Türkiye under consideration to host possible talks between Iran and the United States.

While acknowledging that a formal proposal has been received from Washington, the Iranian official declined to share further details. It also remains unclear whether the proposal is linked to the previously reported 15-point framework or represents a new initiative.

Despite these developments, Iran has maintained its official stance that no formal negotiations are currently underway and that it is not engaged in any agreement process with the administration of Donald Trump.

The situation continues to evolve, with diplomatic efforts intensifying behind the scenes amid ongoing regional tensions.
