Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab Urges Unity on National Issues

Karachi: Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab has urged political stakeholders to avoid politicizing national matters and instead work together to resolve key issues facing the country.
Speaking to the media at Mazar-e-Quaid, Wahab paid tribute to those who contributed to making Pakistan a nuclear power, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding national achievements.
He stated that citizens are living in a free and independent state and warned that no one can cast an “evil eye” on Pakistan.
Discussing ongoing development projects, the mayor said that all initiatives follow a technical process and work continues even during holidays, including Eid. He acknowledged that rising petroleum prices may pose challenges for development activities.
Responding to criticism, Wahab remarked that criticism does not require a reason but merely a voice, adding that as part of the government, it is their responsibility to tolerate criticism while continuing to deliver on public service.
