13 Killed, 7 Injured as Bus Hit by Train in Bangladesh

Dhaka: At least 13 people were killed and seven others injured after a bus was struck by a train in Bangladesh’s Cumilla district, officials confirmed.

According to reports, the tragic accident occurred on a रेलवे ट्रैक connecting Chattogram to Dhaka when the bus came in the path of an oncoming train.

Authorities stated that among the 13 deceased were three women and two children. Rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Initial investigations suggest the collision happened at a railway crossing, though further inquiries are underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
