Pakistan Stock Exchange Sees Sharp Decline, KSE-100 Drops Over 2,200 Points

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a bearish trend on the fourth trading day of the week, with significant losses recorded during intraday trading.

The benchmark KSE-100 Index plunged by 2,281 points, falling to 152,010 points. During the session, the index touched a low of 151,051 points, while its highest level was recorded at 152,698 points.

The decline comes after the market closed at 154,292 points in the previous session, indicating strong selling pressure and negative investor sentiment.

Market analysts attribute the downturn to profit-taking and cautious investor behavior amid ongoing economic uncertainties.
