Punjab Announces Five-Day Holiday Break for Eid-ul-Fitr
The Punjab government has officially announced public holidays for Eid al-Fitr, providing citizens with an extended five-day break to celebrate the festival.
According to the notification, three public holidays will be observed on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday across the province. During this period, government offices and most institutions will remain closed.
This will be followed by the regular weekly holiday on Sunday, extending the break to four consecutive days. Additionally, Monday will also be a public holiday in observance of Pakistan Day, bringing the total number of holidays to five.
The announcement has been welcomed by citizens, many of whom are planning to utilize the extended تعطیلات for travel and family gatherings during the festive period.
