Security Concerns: British Airline Suspends Flights to Dubai and Several Middle Eastern Destinations Until Summer

Islamabad: A British airline has suspended its flights to Dubai and several other Middle Eastern destinations due to security concerns, with cancellations expected to continue until the summer season.
According to a report by the Daily Mail, the airline has halted operations not only to Dubai but also to Oman, Bahrain, and Tel Aviv until May 31.
Flights to Doha will remain suspended until the end of April, while services to Abu Dhabi are expected to be disrupted for a longer period.
Officials stated that the decision was made due to ongoing uncertainty in the Middle East, instability in airspace, and to ensure passenger safety. “We continue to closely monitor the situation and remain in direct contact with affected customers,” the airline said.
It is worth noting that a drone incident near Dubai Airport a day earlier had temporarily disrupted flight operations. However, arrivals and departures to and from Dubai are now gradually resuming.
