MQM-P Holds Consultations on Possible Change of Sindh Governor

Karachi: The Pakistan MQM (MQM-P) is holding internal consultations following the government’s possible decision to replace Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori.

Sources indicate that party leadership is carefully reviewing the matter internally, and an official response from MQM-P is expected once consultations are completed. Key party leaders are reportedly discussing the political implications of the move and strategizing for the future.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that senior Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Nihal Hashmi has been selected for the position of Sindh Governor.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sent the summary to President Arif Alvi for approval. Shehbaz Sharif also met Nihal Hashmi to congratulate him on the appointment, with Rana Sanaullah, Ishaq Dar, and other officials present during the meeting.
