Brave Girl Resists Armed Robbery in Rawalpindi, Video Goes Viral
Rawalpindi: A courageous young woman resisted an armed robbery while walking with her sister in the Qutbuddin area of Rawalpindi, with CCTV footage of the incident now circulating widely.
According to police, a masked gunman snatched three mobile phones and a purse containing cash and cards from the sisters while firing shots during the robbery. The victim, identified as Mah Noor Usman, attempted to stop the assailant despite the danger, but the robber managed to flee the scene.
Speaking to police, Mah Noor said she and her sister were returning from shopping at a commercial market when the armed man attempted to snatch her bag. She resisted, prompting the suspect to fire shots before taking the valuables and escaping.
CCTV footage shows the girl bravely confronting the robber without regard for the gun, even as he knocks her to the ground to seize her belongings. Her sister is also seen rushing to help her. During the struggle, bullets hit the ground nearby, and the girl is later seen chasing the fleeing robber, joined by passersby.
